CHANDIGARH: The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab, has officially released the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2026 results today, April 7. Candidates who appeared for the eligibility test on March 15 can now check their qualifying status for both Paper 1 (Primary) and Paper 2 (Upper Primary) by visiting the official portal at pstet2025.org.
In a student-centric move, the SCERT has announced a two-day correction window starting tomorrow for qualifying candidates. This window is strictly for correcting minor clerical errors in the candidate’s personal details—such as the spelling of names, parentage, or date of birth—that will appear on the final PSTET certificate. It is imperative that these details match official identity documents, as the PSTET certificate is a mandatory lifetime credential for teacher recruitment in Punjab government schools.
To qualify, General category candidates required a minimum of 60% (90/150 marks), while reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH) required 55% (82/150 marks). Candidates can log in using their registration number and password to view their digital scorecards. The Council has clarified that no changes to the actual marks or qualifying status will be entertained during this window, as the results are based on a finalized answer key released on April 5.
